Zeeshan Hayat is a firm believer in giving back, both through philanthropy and personal engagement with those in need. In 2007, Zeeshan co-founded 100 Meals a Week, delivering over 250,000 meals and necessities to the homeless community in DTES. In July 2019, he partnered with multiple NGOs to co-found The Muslim Care Centre (MCC), delivering over 600,000 meals in less than ten months.

Zeeshan Hayat is a true believer in the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, actively engaging in regular exercise and mountain biking. Zeeshan’s commitment to martial arts is highlighted by earning a Taekwondo black belt at age 17 and competing on the global stage. This journey and its impact on his well-being are central to the insights he shares on his blog.
In 2021, Zeeshan Hayat spearheaded the Pixel Moments campaign, focusing on mental health awareness. Zeeshan is also a member of St Paul’s Future Leader Committee supporting Mental Health and Addiction programs.

He mentors MBA students in SFU Beedie’s MiB program and helps shape the future of participants in Junior Achievement’s Be Entrepreneurial program.
